PrEP Blogs from Room 9

TAKE AN ACTIVE PART IN PrEP.... By Aimee Ford

I am in the business called INCY WINCY INSECTS. I was given the job of being the receptionist with Allie Gibson and that meant that if Mum (Kylee) was busy doing something when people came to the door we would do our best to help them.
Every afternoon from 1:15 - 2:30 I have gone to room 7 and taken an active part in our business, painting caterpillars, bees, grasshoppers and lady bugs and putting detail on them, to make them look really awesome so that people would want to buy our product.
I was also a great helper at tidy up time, helping to collect up all the paint brushes and  paint trays and taking them to the sink and washing them, also folding up the newspaper ready for the next day and helping to fold the paint shirts.
It has been so much fun painting because we got paint on our hands and sometimes our faces.
It has been really fun and exciting to see the finished products, with their googly eyes and pipe cleaners!!!! THEY LOOK SOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!

Incy wincy  Insects

In prep we have had fun  making caterpillars, lady bugs, bees and grass hoppers.
We use old egg cartons that we painted and put googly eyes, pipe cleaners, pom poms and  buttons for the  tails, eyes and legs.

PrEP
By Millah on Sep 13, 2015

Last week we started PrEP. I am in Room 9 and we are called Sewing Sensations. We made puppets and t-shirt bags. The puppets were 20 Coasters and the bags were 30 Coasters. No one bought any thing from us because most of the school only got 20 c out of their bank and they probably wanted to save their money to buy stuff at next week's market. P.J lost 20 c so I gave him 2 of my Coasters because I felt sorry for him. Next week we are going to make necklaces and little money bays out of the t-shirt sleeves. Mum came into room 9 to help us make everything. At the market I bought a bug and a kite. Next week I am going to buy lip scrub from  Libby from room 18.

PREP!

I love doing prep. Adison and Ryah have been really kind to me and nice. They are in my group.

This year in room 8 for prep we had been making minion treasure boxes. Even if Im not in room 8 I am employed in room 8 this year,

In room 9 they are doing sewing to make puppets. I decided to apply for a job in room 8 because I like folding paper and painting the minions. it has been kind of good being in a different class with different people. Everyone was on task sometimes, and I did a neat job of painting. One kind of negative was that I painted the minion tissue box upside down but Miss Lagan rubbed it off thank goodness.

I didn't spend any money at the mini market because I wanted to spend my money at the big market.
